Customer Review: Love it!!
Be sure to run a software update. When I fist purchased it, it would freeze occasionally. Now it works great!
Customer Review: Great product
TomTom GO 910 Portable GPS Vehicle Navigator This is my first GPS ever and quire impressed with what they have to offer. I haven’t update the map, but it has been a great help in finding ways to get to out of town destination. The only downside is they don’t have vast category in Point Of Interest; only the basic category (restaurant, hotel/motel, gas station). You can search for groceries store too, but would nice if it’s in their own category.

Customer Review: Ms,
My daughter bought this for me in 2004. I still love it. It is a great motivator to get out to walk. Helps to see how I am doing. I decide if I want to go further & longer. The virtal trainer is another good motivator as I try to stay up with “it”. I highly recommend it. I wear it whenever I go out. Even take it when I go out, in case, I want to add more miles to my day. Better than any pedometer.

Tom Tom RDS-TMC Traffic Receiver

This new accessory will enable users to receive traffic information via radio signal. The TomTom RDS/TMC Traffic Receiver connects to TomTom GO GPS receivers and will automatically start receiving traffic information from the device. Subscription fee required to receive service to help keep you alert of ongoing traffic issues among participating areas in USA and Canada. The device comes with a 12-month subscription. After that, the subscription may be renewed at about $60 per year.
In addition the TomTom RDS/TMC Traffic Receiver provides TomTom users with alternative routes if delays occur, which ensures limited delays to any journey. The unit interfaces with several TomTom GPS car devices.
The TomTom RDS/TMC Traffic Receiver works by using TMC signals that are received through a normal FM radio antenna and broadcast by national or regional providers. By simply connecting the new TomTom GO device to the RDS/TMC Traffic Receiver, users will automatically receive traffic information via the TMC connection. Once a journey is planned, traffic alerts which relate to the route are clearly displayed in the traffic bar on the right hand side of the screen. When the user taps an icon shown in the traffic bar, they receive further information, such as the cause or kind of delay to traffic, such as an accident or traffic jam. In addition, the TomTom PLUS Traffic service provides up to date information on weather and road conditions. TomTom Traffic is a subscription based service that can be obtained via wireless data connection (GPRS, UMTS etc.).
Customer Review: A receiver that not able to receive
This receiver was nothing but trouble from the first day that I got it. I had to call Tom Tom several times to try to trouble shoot the problems but they were unable to fix the situation. It was finally determined that the item was defective and I had to send it back for a refund.
Customer Review: RDS-TMC Failure
The RDS-TMC receiver did not work as advertised. After many hours of trying and with help desk I was told that I had an European version. I had to return the receiver but was unable to secure the correct replacement.

Customer Review: Spaghetti menu with a penchant for wacky excursions
Where to begin on this thing? Basics probably … the windshield mount will not stick to the windshield :O ! Clean with alcohol, both windshield and cup and change in temperature the thing will come crashing down.. STRIKE ONE! I figured that if the unit was as good as the TOMTOM site makes it look I could get a better mount, but as everything else the devil is in the details so this detail shouldve told me I was in for trouble. But, what is it you want from a GPS? Get from me here to there efficiently and if something comes up , give me some alternatives. Well this is just the biggest piece of wasted technology I have ever seen in my life. First the user interface is DISMAL. To achieve some function you must navigate through up to 6 screens (there is a forward arrow but you can not go back) NICE engineering! Now to the basics .. I entred my home address as HOME and my work address as a favorite. (that was the best I could say about the unit .. it found both addresses to the t in record time. Now comes the troubles : I set a route from my home (in Queens NY) to work In Woodbury LI. First trouble it insits in asking me that there is an HOV line on this trip! Well knowing the shortest route from a built in Pioneer I have in another car I know there is not an HOV on this trip! But I skip ahead and accept this as an idiosyncratic thing. One nice feature you can see a line by line text detail of the trip, and here comes the surprise. This thing is sending me through a maze of a combination expressways and side streets, that not in zillion years Iwould even considered. (As I read on another comment this unit seems to have something going with the Whitestone Bridge!) well This not being my fave route. I press 4 keys to go back ask for another route. nothing, things get worse . the fastest and shortest trip is never displayed so I give up on HOME to WORK. Now I try WORK to HOME to see how this does. Guess what? it is even worse.! It sends me all the way through I495 towards Manhattan, gets me on the VanWyck Expressway , gets me into Kennedy airport , gets me out of Kennedy airport , makes me exit to a side street about 10 miles from my house and then back into the Belt Parkway , where it makes me exit 2 exits before I should’ve exit (17W) . I went through this time after time and not once did it even get close to giving me the shortest or fastest trips . Since I am setting this inside the garage with 5 satellites shooting down I took a chance and accepted one of the wacky trips, the moment I headed to the car and before I even connected the unit , it started giving me turn instructions !!!!! and once the instruction is give, this thing thinks you are where it thinks you should be. All in all a very nice web site with lots of goodies to spend you time and a lot of social networking but as a NAVIGATOR this thing is just horrendous and I have not even mentioned the 3D graphics .. awful! The “extra graphics are as if drawn by a 5 year old with a crayola (just try t change the icon for your car! How TOMTOM has developed such a loyal following is beyond comprehension. I can see people who are not technically oriented being frustrated, but I actually design electronic gear for a living and I was totally baffled as to WHO would release this product to the market. Oh , for those who may volunteer I had a defective unit .. I did not I tried 3! As an aside I stopped at Staples and tried a Magellan (just for kicks since I haven’t read anything good about it) and this thing picked the right routes both to and from work on first choice. Go figure. So if you buy into the cool commercials and all the “MAPUPDATE” online sell pitch beware, the hyperboleis a lot better than the product.
Customer Review: Wow!
Luckily I saw a video review of all the top navigation systems and it was a toss up. So I went with the TomTom GO 920T. What a sweet little device. I love that I don’t have to reach for it do anything. It has a remote for that. This allowed me to mount it way down at the bottom of the windshield where it only blocks a small view of your hood. And the fact that you can give verbal queues to select a destination is great. You can also record your own voice for the common verbal command that it gives you for following a route. My biggest surprise was when the iPhone on my hip rang, I picked up the remote and pressed the button to answer, and I was talking hands free through the GPS to my iPhone. For short trips, I don’t even have to plug it in thanks to the built in battery. And features galore! If you are looking for a really great GPS with all the bells and whistles, this is it. You will absolutely love it.

Customer Review: GolfLogix GPS
I recieved my GolfLogix GPS a week ago and took it to our local course to give it a try. My friends had a “SkyCaddie” and I wanted a Garmin product as I also have a Garmin Street Pilot 330c GPS. I was extremely disappointed in the Golflogix as it was really giving strange readings that were way off. I finally shut it off and went ahead and finished my golf game. I went home aroung 5:30pm and e-mailed GolfLogix and told them what had happened. To make a long story short I recieved an e-mail within 2 hours as to what had happened. They explained that some changes on the golf course had been made since they had mapped it. Well in that span of 2 hours they had remapped it and published it. I re-loaded the update and tried it out last night. It worked great, very accurate, couldn’t ask for anything to work better than it did. I have e-mailed GolfLogig 3 other times and their response was always answered well and fast. WAY TO GO GolfLogix, very refreshing for that kind of service in this day and age.
Customer Review: Golf Logic Review
This GPS device works better than all others on the market (I’ve seen them all). The information is very accurate so I don’t have to worry about the club I intend to use for an approach shot. The device is simple to operate. It is very portable. And I don’t have to worry about recharging the batteries (I just carry spares).
